Iconographies #20: Tiger Hunt after Rubens

2014

The Tiger Hunt, 1615 | Peter Paul Rubens

Series of prints generated from the algorithmic analysis of Rubens’ masterpiece Tiger Hunt. Composition, color-schemes and geometrical features of the source painting are analyzed to reveal new abstract formations. Delving beneath its iconographic appearance, the work celebrates new algorithmic and non-human aesthetics.
